PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Shelter Greeter volunteers are stationed at the entrances of campus and assist inquiring and sometimes lost members of the public. We provide you with all of the answers to FAQ's and a walkie talkie to communicate with staff if you have any questions during your shift. From providing directions to desired locations within the shelter, to providing general operational updates and resources, such as our appointment-based pet adoption process, you will inevitably play an impactful part for the shelter! Please feel free to sign up for 1-2 shifts per week, max. The week is counted Sunday-Saturday. *Please make a note in the comments section if this is your first shift! :)
If you are unable to make a shift, please provide as much advance notice as possible; preferably no less than 24 hours.
