Tier 1 training includes in-kennel enrichment Boredom Busters, Click-to-Calm, and a foundation of (how to interpret) dog body language. This is the introductory level for volunteers looking to eventually work directly with shelter dogs. DUTIES: Completing this in-person training session will allow volunteers to work in any of the Tier 1 programs and work towards their prerequisite (6) hours to Tier 2.
