Join Pasadena Humane’s Dog Enrichment Circuit! This program is designed to address the needs of dogs in our care as they wait for their forever homes. After attending the Dog Enrichment Circuit training, volunteer handlers offer dogs an enrichment circuit in our training rooms that are evidence based, with the goal of decompression and skill building. With the use of the training room spaces with themes such as Structured Toy Play and Crates & Platforms, we get to know more about our dogs and prepare them for life in their future adoptive homes. Allowing them to have a little experience with new items and set ups is a fun break for the dogs and the handlers! You'll receive ample support from the Enrichment and Playgroup Specialist throughout the program. Shifts will be on Monday and Friday mornings 8:30-10:30 and 10:30-12:30. With a full team, we can take out 36 dogs in four hours; your participation helps more dogs leave their kennels! *Before signing up for a training, please ensure you have reviewed and completed all the prerequisites (Tier 1 and Tier 2). **REQUIRED TRAINING for Tier 1** (15 years of age and older) BEFORE SIGNING UP AND ATTENDING THE TIER 1 IN-PERSON TRAINING, YOU MUST FIRST COMPLETE ALL THE PREREQUISITE ONLINE MODULES: shorturl.at/gLFf7 **REQUIRED TRAINING for Tier 2** (17 years of age and older) Must have completed the in-person Tier 1 training and 6 hours within Tier 1, along with the Tier 1 online training modules.
